"Golden Butterfly Recipient Honorary"
Tracey Durden
"Monetary Visa gift card Winner"

Women of Life Changing, Inc.  would like to honor Tracey Durden as the  "Golden Butterfly Recipient Honorary" for Sarcoidosis Awareness Month 2019.

We had many submissions entered with wholehearted stories to share.  As a matter of fact, everyone who entered were winners.  However, "Tracey Durden" transparency and alacrity to fight "shed light" on our decision.

This is "Tracey Durden"  Story she valiantly love to share with the world.

It's Sarcoidosis Awareness Month and I'm thanking God for another day to be here. This journey began in October 2002, first diagnosed in my spine, traveled to my liver, nostrils, and brain. In 2015 Sarcoidosis returned with a vengeance in my brain I had to consume 3000mg of prednisone in 3 days which in turn destroyed my immune system. In this process, I became vulnerable to infections and I obtained a fungal infection at my IV site, which in turn caused me to have my entire amputation of my right arm.

This disease called Sarcoidosis is a monster. But to all my sister's and brothers in the fight to stay well, please don't ever give up. I don't care how bad your day seems there are better days ahead. People often tell me you always smiling, they just don't know the tears I've shed and the pain and discomfort I feel everyday since I lost my arm. But I do know there's a man name Jesus who will never leave my side, and who help me bare my burdens. In 2015 when the doctors didn't know if I would make it,  Jesus stepped in right on time.  I'm now in stage 3 liver failure with cirrhosis and pending liver transplant in future. This is my story I hope I have encouraged someone .

I have never wore an outfit since my surgery showing my scars, but today with my arm gone I'm still alive and enjoying the journey.

Psalm 18:1-3 KJV

[1] I will love thee, O Lord , my strength. [2] The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. [3] I will call upon the Lord , who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
