My name is Caroline Taylor I'm 43 years old and I'm a Sarcoidosis Warrior for 10 years I was diagnosed in 2010. I think I had it way before then though I suffer from asthma and Copd also I've had asthma ever since I was a kid and I was allergic to everything .I also had to get allergy shots and took a lot of medicine also , I remember my lung Dr telling me in 2010 you have Sarcoidosis I didn't even know what that was he explained it to me and was very caring he said my lungs looked bad and I thought then oh my I'm going to die but then I thought once I got home you know what only God knows when it's my time and I'm going to live my life to the fullest .I can't do a lot like I used to oh how I would love to run with my grandson but I still enjoy his company. I have 5 wonderful children.

I have other health issues PTSD, bipolar, depression, anxiety, panic, chronic pain which sarcoidosis causes chronic pain. In my life I've been through a lot and I thought I couldn't go on so I turned to alcohol and drugs (cocaine) it got to overwhelming and I lost everything. I knew it was time to get clean and sober I've been clean for 10 years and sober for 5 years and I think God for saving me every day. I love all of my family and they are so understanding and supportive and I love all of my Sarcoidosis family they all keep me going and I will never give up I will keep fighting and continue to live my life to the fullest

Psalm 18:1-3 KJV

[1] I will love thee, O Lord , my strength. [2] The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. [3] I will call upon the Lord , who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
